...to return to the theme of quotes used in real-life situations, here are mine;

1. "These are not the droids..."
Used anytime the art of persuasion is needed

2. "Stu-u-u-uff!"
Used in response to any ‘what are you up to?’ type question.

3. “Never get out of the boat! Never get out of the boat!.”
Used whenever there has been some kind of unpleasant surprise, or mistake made.

4. “You’re so fucken suaaave”
Compliment used during dressing for weddings etc

5. “I can see your bum :-)”
When the companion is naked

6. “I want to smash your face in”
For moments of mutual admiration

7. “THE HORROR… THE HORROR”
Used to express reluctance, or cringe (on witnessing ‘FAIL’)

There will be gold stars given for correct answers. Anyone who guesses 2. or 5. does not need to be granted to power to rule the universe, because he or she already does.

Each as I get up at 6am to go to work, I find myself repeating Scarlet's quote from Gone With The Wind - 'I Will Never Go Hungry Again'!

Since Westerns seem to be our current theme-Here are two characters talking-Name the Western:

"When I get to likin' someone, they ain't around long."

"I notice when you get to DISlikin' someone they ain't around for long neither."

Howdy Darren. That great and immortal line was spoken by the great and immortal Clint Eastwood in "The Unforgiven".
Here's one back at ya. Who said this and in what movie?
"Poor soul, you were just too high strung... I'm afraid the strain was more than he could bear."

Good Health,

Hi Darren, number (2) was spoken by a great hero of mine. Paul Newman as Butch Cassidy to Robert Redford as The Sundance Kid in the movie of the same title. When they were holed up in Bolivia and Butch presents the idea of going to Australia after getting out of the jam they were in. I remember how happy I was when I saw a documentary on the History Channel that revealed the real Butch and Sundance actually survived that day and got out of Bolivia alive. Butch lived until well into the 1920's.

Thanks and Good Health, see you at the movies!

1) Indiana Jones to himself in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
2) You got me????
3) Kurt Russel's Wyatt Earp to a very heavy and almost unrecognizable Billy Bob Thornton in Tombstone.
4) Schwartz says it to Flick in A Christmas Story

Okay Darren, here's a little friendly trivia, identify the following quotes, what movie, and from whom to whom. I'll include a few stage notes for fun.

1)spoken with conviction and a hint of sarcastic disgust: "Nazis...I hate these guys."

2)spoken with frustrated disapproval: "Ah, everythimg's got to be perfect with you."

3)spoken with threatening force: "Go ahead, skin it. Skin that smokewagon and see what happens."

4)spoken with, well, I'll let this one speak for itself:
"I triple dog dare ya!"

"Greed for lack of a better word is good. Greed is right. Greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Greed in all of its forms. Greed for life for money for love, knowledge has marked the upward surge of mankind...and Greed, you mark my words will not only save Teldar paper, but that other malfunctioning corporation called the USA. Thank you very much."

Michael Douglas as Gordon Gekko from Wall Street

My personal favorite that requires little or no commentary on my part.
