In the past five years, I have personally seen big miracles and little miracles by using essential oils on myself and my family.
I will share a list of general benefits using essential oils to educate you on a “new” modality in alternative healing. By educating people in this way, we can heal the planet on many levels without creating toxicity in our body and minds.
These are some of the benefits of using essential oils:
1. Essential oils are small enough in molecular size that they can quickly penetrate the tissues of the skin.
2. Essential oils are lipid-soluble and are capable of penetrating cell membranes. They can affect every cell of the body within 20 minutes and are then metabolized like other nutrients.
3. Essential oils, according to researchers at the University of Vienna, stimulate blood blow, which increases oxygen and nutrient delivery.
4. Essential oils are some of the most powerful known antioxidants.
5. Essential oils are antibacterial, antifungal, anti-infectious, antimicrobial, antiparasitic, antiviral, and antiseptic. Some oils have been shown to destroy all tested bacteria and viruses.
6. Essential oils can detoxify the cells and blood in the body.
7. Essential oils promote emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.
In my family we and circle of friends we have seen great results from the use of essential oils. They are a viable alternative and can be used in lieu of antibiotics and other medicines that can sometimes be over prescribed by the medical community. My hope is to educate you on the benefits and uses of essential oils so that you can make informed decisions and incorporate them into your lives. I am sure that as you begin to use them you will share my passion as a proponent of essentials oils for every day living!

I have heard about the many good benefits of oils. Why doesn’t the medical community talk more about them if they are so great?
Essential oils sound amazing. Is there any evidence that they help reduce the risk of cancer?
Hi Nancy,
Unfortunately alternative/integrative medicine is not taught in medical school.
Doctors additional learning comes from pharmaceutal reps who indoctrinate them with the benefits of drugs. It’s a billion $$ industry.
That’s why i am a proponent of choice and use oils as my lst defense.
why don’t you try some?
thanks,
Marlene
yes. We and esp. women can relate to a calming bath filled with lavender. There is something to be said for the natural parts of this earth. Now where can I find an encylopedia with this information so I can have it at my fingertips. remembering to read is to learn, to write is to know and to teach is to share.
I recommend the Essential Oils Desk REference. The hard covered book has over 550 pages which has become my “bible”.
This can be ordered from http://www.EssentialSciencePublishing.net
They also carry a mini version soft covered book.
Good luck, Marlene
Jill,
Essential oils boost the immune system to keep it healthy and clear out toxins. A healthy immune system will be able to withstand cancer cell proliferation.
Ningxia wolfberry drink is a whole food I recommend to also keep the immune system strong. It’s the best antioxidant drink on the planet.

Essential oils have changed my life in a very positive and profound way. I have severe arthritis in both hands and feet and about 4 months ago, started weekly acupuncture treatments. Amazing results – very little joint pain now, and the added benefit of better sleep and mood.
As part of my therapy, my acupuncturist recommended weekly “essential oil raindrop massage.” This consists of a gentle dripping of 12 different oils up my spine, (valor, basil and cypress are some names I recall), which are absorbed into my skin by the masseuse, who gently massages he opils in and then lays very pads on my back for 10-15 minutes. At the same session, the 12 oils are rubbed on the soles of my feet and my masseuse works them into the skin through reflexology.
I also use wintergreen oil when a joint starts to ache (usually in damp weather) and lemongrass oil to help my joints move easier. I no longer take Aleve, Advil or Tylenol PM – I used to take all 3 frighteningly regularly.
The dual process of acupuncture and raindrop massage, coupled with my own application of the two essential oils described have truly changed my life and opened my eyes to the benefits of gentle, non-invansive and natural methods of healing.
Diane, thanks for sharing. That treatment sounds wonderful. I will have to try it sometime.
